Beautiful Giveaway...

We are moving into a house from our tiny apartment in January, so I have been lighting up the blog world and Pinterest in search of the perfect decor for our new space.

Today I stumbled upon this blog by Jennifer Rizzo.  So sweet and inspiring.  She is currently hosting a giveaway from her new Etsy Shop.  I just love the fingerless gloves...

Tuesdays...

So I need to comment really quickly on the beautiful weather we had today (and no I'm not being sarcastic) 61° and raining!  Oh how I love days like today...

On Tuesdays we have a play group at church that meets from 9:45 to 11:00.  It's always really nice to hang out with other moms and let the kids loose with the church's toys.  Today Leighra only asked to go potty 5 times...sigh.

We decided to hang out with Ashley, Azaylee, and Asher this afternoon and what fun we had.

The balls we got for Azaylee for her 2nd birthday and since we had no where to put them we turned the coffee table upside down, it was a mess but a beautiful one.

We got to spend the whole evening with them and Kyle and Aaron (my brother) joined us after work.

Family is the very best!

Pumpkin Time...

The strawberry farm I work at has transformed into a pumpkin patch for the first time.  It is magical, I absolutely love this time of year.  

We decided to go pumpkin picking last week for our families carving pumpkins (I got an awful lot of crap for my choice of pumpkin, but I thought it was beautiful),

Leighra now affectionately refers to all pumpkins, or pictures of pumpkins, as "pumpkin patch".

This morning when I asked Leighra if she wanted to go grocery shopping with me she said "no, I sit punkin patch"

This evening we decided to carve our pumpkins.  Leighra was NOT a fan.  I thought for sure she would enjoy the activity, but it turns out she doesn't like pumpkin guts...

Aren't they cute? Too bad no one can see them on our apartment balcony...

I have a serious problem committing to the blogging world.  I really want to do it and have the stories and ideas, but it seems like every day I push the thought aside and suddenly it's the end of another day.  Okay tomorrow is a new day!  I can do this!

It's time for me to start seriously blogging.  I keep putting it off, but there is so much going on in our lives that I want to write about.  The time is now!  So my first post is going to be about blogging and what you can expect from me.  

I am going to use this blog to express my opinions, my thoughts on life, and to keep an account of our little family.  I will try to write something everyday, even if it's just a quick hello/goodbye and as I do it more often maybe I can find a balance of repeating themes weekly.
